We’re thrilled to introduce Aaz Mrozinski as the first full-time Executive Director of the Fort Monroe Foundation.

Aaz joins us at a transformational moment, not just for the Foundation, but for Fort Monroe itself. As the private fundraising partner the Fort Monroe ecosystem, the Foundation is responsible for shaping events and programs that engage new and existing audiences, donors, volunteers, and supporters.

With Aaz at the helm, we’re charting a bold course forward that honors our storied past while building an imaginative and resonant future.

Aaz brings a uniquely powerful background to this work. With a background in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an Art Direction education from Miami Ad School and the Art Institute of Miami, Aaz blends strategic thinking with creative vision. Her professional experience spans tech entrepreneurship, venture capital, nonprofit leadership, and public placemaking, making her the ideal bridge between legacy and innovation.
